Aggarwal Allergy Clinic was founded in 1986 by Jag Aggarwal MD to be later joined by his wife Dr. Neelam Aggarwal MD, with the vision of creating an Allergy practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. The nurses and office staff at Aggarwal Allergy Clinic are highly-trained and exceptionally friendly. When you call you will not be asked to leave a message. We are even open during lunch, since for many patients that is the only break they have when they can call us from work.
In most cases you could be seen within 24 to 72 hours.
Refill Policy: Try to request new prescriptions or refill at appointments, when possible. Keep in mind that many pharmacies do not routinely carry all prescription drugs. Therefore, try to call for a refill a few days prior to taking your last dose to give the pharmacy a chance to order your drug.
We prefer that you have your pharmacy request refills on you rbehalf, but you can also call one of our medical assistants during office hours for questions or requests for prescription refills, as we must review your medical chart. Please have your pharmacy's phone number available. We discourage prescribing new medications over the telephone, as an accurate diagnosis is usually possible only with an office visit.
After hour contacts: Please limit after-hour calls to urgent and emergency needs. If you have an urgent medical situation, call our office at 816 525 8400 to reach our answering service. They will contact the doctor on call immediately, who will return your call as soon as possible. Since we do not have access to your records, we strongly discourage after hour prescription refill calls. Please understand that the after hours access is for urgent situations only. If you can not wait for the on call physician's return call please go to the ER or urgent care center.
Cancelling an appointment: Please give us 24 hours notice if you can not keep your appointment so that those slots can be made available to other patients. At this time we do not charge a fee for "NO SHOWS" but we may do that in the future.
